NASA ประกาศยกเลิกการยิงจรวดตามภารกิจ Artemis I ตามแผนการที่วางไว้ เนื่องจากพบปัญหาเชื้อเพลิงรั่วในเครื่องยนต์ของจรวด SLS

NASA บอกว่าจะพยายามแก้ปัญหาและประกาศวันยิงจรวดใหม่อีกครั้งในภายหลัง จากประกาศเดิมคราวก่อน โอกาสยิง (launch opportunity) รอบหน้าที่สภาพแวดล้อมเหมาะสมกับการยิงจรวดคือวันที่ 2 กันยายน และ 5 กันยายน
