Amber Group บริษัทคริปโตจากสิงคโปร์ เป็นบริษัทล่าสุดที่ออกมาปลดพนักงานออก 40% จากราว 700 คน เหลือไม่ถึง 400 คน รวมถึงยุติการทำตลาดลูกค้ารายย่อย หันไปโฟกัสที่กลุ่มลูกค้าสถาบัน สำนักงานลงทุนของครอบครัว หรือลูกค้าระดับมั่งคั่งแทน

ส่วนเหตุผลที่ Amber Group ต้องปลดคนนั้น มีทั้งสภาพขาลงของตลาดคริปโต และบริษัทก็ได้รับผลกระทบจากการล้มละลายของ FTX ด้วยเช่นกัน

ถึงแม้ Amber Group อาจไม่ได้ทำตลาดในไทยโดยตรง แต่บริษัทเป็นที่รู้จักในชื่อแอพ WhaleFin ที่เป็นสปอนเซอร์ของสโมสรฟุตบอลเชลซีมากกว่า และ Amber Gruop ก็ประกาศยกเลิกสัญญาสปอนเซอร์กับเชลซี เพื่อเป็นการลดค่าใช้จ่ายด้วยเช่นกัน
