Elden Ring คว้ารางวัลเกมแห่งปี 2022 (Game of the Year) จากสำนักใหญ่อีกสำนักคือ D.I.C.E. Awards ของสถาบันศิลปะอินเทอร์แอคทีฟ (Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences – AIAS) โดยเฉือนชนะคู่แข่ง God of War Ragnarok เช่นเดียวกับที่เอาชนะในรางวัล The Game Awards 2022 เมื่อปลายปี

แต่แฟนๆ God of War Ragnarok ก็ไม่ต้องเสียใจที่แพ้แล้วแพ้อีกในรางวัลใหญ่ เพราะเกม God of War Ragnarok เข้าชิงรางวัลย่อยเยอะที่สุดถึง 12 สาขา และชนะมาได้มากที่สุดเช่นกัน 7 สาขา ได้แก่ Outstanding Achievement in Animation, Art Direction, Audio Design, Character, Original Music Composition, Story, Adventure Game of the Year

ส่วน Elden Ring ชนะ 5 สาขา คือ Outstanding Achievement in Game Design, Game Direction, Technical Achievement, Role-Playing Game of the Year

นอกจากสองเกมใหญ่ที่แข่งกันกวาดรางวัลไปเกือบหมดแล้ว รางวัลของเกมอื่นๆ ที่น่าสนใจคือ เกมอินดี้ยอดเยี่ยม (Tunic), เกมออนไลน์ยอดเยี่ยม (FFXIV), เกม VR ยอดเยี่ยม (Red Matter 2), เกมแอคชั่นยอดเยี่ยม (Vampire Survivors) เป็นต้น

รางวัล D.I.C.E. Awards 2022 ยังเสนอชื่อให้ Tim Schafer ผู้ก่อตั้งบริษัท Double Fine Productions และผู้กำกับเกม Psychonauts 2 ได้รับรางวัลพิเศษ Double Fine Productions สำหรับผลงานการพัฒนาเกมผจญภัยมายาวนานกว่า 30 ปีด้วย (ปีที่แล้วผู้ชนะคือ Ed Boon ผู้ร่วมสร้างซีรีส์ Mortal Kombat)
